IFIAR convenes its member countries in Indonesia, POB: Best practices in methodology strengthen INSPECTIONS.
The Public Oversight Board participated in the 17th Inspection Seminar of IFIAR, held from 7-9 March 2023, in Indonesia.
The seminar brought together 120 participants from nearly 40 member countries who shared experiences on issues related to:
➖ Global developments in auditing,
➖ Quality control standards,
➖ Inspections and oversight of statutory audits.
Topics related to the inspection process focused on the development of new methodologies to learn and benefit from best practices among countries.
Emphasis was given to the "exchange of information," aiming to identify best practices in inspecting audit firms. It also promotes greater sustainability among regulators.
