POB Reports at the Bilateral Meeting on Chapter 6 “Company Law”

On February 3, 2023, a Bilateral Meeting on Chapter 6 “Company Law” was held in Brussels, between the delegation representing the Public Oversight Board (POB) and experts from the Delegation of the Council of Europe.

The POB was represented by Mr. Dritan Fino, Chairperson, together with Ms. Erjola Vejzati, Acting Executive Director, and Ms. Klea Rodhani, Legal Affairs Specialist, who participated in the bilateral discussions on Chapter 6 “Company Law”, within the framework of Albania’s EU accession negotiation process.

During the meeting, the status of alignment of legislation on financial reporting and auditing was presented, along with the planned strategies for further harmonization with the requirements of the EU acquis communautaire.
