IFIAR – 17th Inspection Workshop

#IFIAR brings together member countries in #Indonesia, while the #POB highlights: Best practices in methodology strengthen #INSPECTIONS.

The Public Oversight Board (POB) participated in the 17th IFIAR Inspection Workshop, held on March 7–9, 2023, in Indonesia.

The seminar gathered 120 participants from nearly 40 member countries, who shared experiences on key issues related to:

➖ Global developments in auditing

➖ Quality control standards

➖ Inspections and oversight of statutory audits

The discussions on the inspection process focused on the development of new methodologies to learn from and benefit from best practices across countries.

Particular emphasis was placed on “information sharing” with the aim of identifying best practices in the inspection of audit firms. This also contributes to greater consistency among regulators.
