In recent weeks, false, threatening, and defamatory information has been anonymously disseminated with the aim of damaging the image of the statutory audit profession. Furthermore, an alleged list referred to as the list of successful candidates in the professional qualification examinations for the 2023 season has circulated to both official and private addresses. If this list proves to be authentic, it contains personal data that are protected under the applicable legislation.
The POB, in cooperation with IEKA and PSEC, is taking the necessary steps to identify responsibilities and ensure accountability of the individuals involved.
Guided by the principles of transparency and integrity, the POB remains committed to continuing its work on further improving the quality of the profession, as well as strengthening the reputation and trust in the field of statutory audit and approved accountants in our country.
