Candidates participating in the examinations for obtaining the title of Statutory Auditor or Approved Accountant have the right to appeal for an administrative review of the test. The request for review must be accompanied by proof of payment for the review, which amounts to half of the examination fee and is to be paid into the same bank account where candidates made their examination fee payments.
The appeal must be submitted in writing to the technical secretariat of the PSEC, with a copy to the POB, or directly to the supporting structure of the POB.
The administrative review process is carried out by individuals selected by the supporting structure or external experts, and includes the review of the entire administrative process related to the candidate’s evaluation who has appealed the result and the announcement of results by the PSEC. The administrative review process includes a copy of the summary evaluation minutes from each examiner, a recalculation of points for each candidate, and verification of the answer sheets and the number of exercises completed by each candidate who has appealed the process.
